| Personal History | Born on Copernicus Colony, Sol's Moon, to an educator father and stay home mom, Ben's life was mostly normal. He went to school, did sports, and liked to look at girls when he got older. In high school, he played football, and was a big star, dated around, BUT still managed to get good grades-mostly A's and B's. It was in high school that he found his affinity for math and physics, and put his aptitude there. Later in school, he attended a career fair, and a recruiter from StarFleet was there. He joined the Academy, majoring in Engineering. At the academy, he played baseball alongside his studies. In his junior year, he met a Betazoid woman, Vila Lorut, and knew he was going to marry her. They did, immediately upon graduation. Their son was born two years later. They were unable to have more children. Vila is a Fleet science officer, Chief Science Officer and XO at the USS Astrea. Ben is currently on his first posting as well, having attended the Academy, and is posted to the USS Mercy as a physician. |
